The British Prime Minister recently opened up about his favorite household chores and revealed what annoys him the most in an interview with Grazia magazine. Rishi Sunak has revealed his least favorite chore is taking out the rubbish.
Mr Sunak and Akshata Murthy have spoken openly about sharing family burdens. Detailing his favorite chore, Mr Sunak said: “Sometimes after we’ve all left I’ll go back to the flat from the office and make the bed because I get really angry if it’s not made.”
Meanwhile, Ms Murthy admitted she was “not a morning person”, with the Prime Minister quickly adding, “But you don’t like making your bed either, which bothers me.
During the interview, Mr Sunak also revealed a “disgusting” habit his wife had when they first met. He said Akshata Murty used to eat in bed.
Ms Murthy said: “He used to come back to where I lived and sometimes there would be dishes on my bed.” Mr Sunak muttered “disgusting” before adding “not anymore”.
During the interview, Rishi Sunak also demonstrated his prowess at loading the dishwasher, admitting that he often rearranges the dishwasher after Murty has loaded it.
He listed both chores as his favorite, saying, “Both have a nice, satisfying ending,” before choosing to make his bed.
