Major reshuffle in Jammu and Kashmir Police: 7 IPS, 14 JKPS officers transferred

Srinagar, Oct 9 (IANS) A major reshuffle was ordered on Thursday in the Jammu and Kashmir Police, with a special director general posted as Commandant General, Home Guards, Civil Defense and SDRF and 20 senior superintendents of police (SSPs) and SPs transferred from their current postings.

According to an order issued by the Jammu and Kashmir Home Department, which has been approved by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Abdul Ghani Mir, IPS (AGMUT: 1994), who is awaiting orders of appointment, has been posted as Commandant General, Home Guard, Civil Defence, SDRF, Jammu and Kashmir, relieving Alok Kumar, IPS of the additional charge of the post.

Mo. Yasin Kitchlu, IPS (AGMUT:2013) SSP CICE Jammu is transferred and posted as Principal STC Talwara in place of Mohammad. Arif Rishu.

Shobhit Saxena, IPS (AGMUT:2015), SSP Kathua, has been transferred and posted as SSP Security, J&K against the available vacancy.

Tanushree, IPS (AGMUT:2017) SP, SIA Headquarters, has been transferred and posted as SSP Pulwama.

Sahil Sarangal, IPS (AGMUT:2017), SSP Kulgam, has been transferred and posted as SSP Handwara.

Mohita Sharma, IPS (AGMUT:2017), AIG Provisions, has been transferred and posted as SSP Kathua.

Anayat Ali Chaudhary, IPS (AGMUT:2017) SSP Shopian, has been transferred and appointed as SSP Kulgam in place of IPS Sahil Sarangal.

Further, Mohammad Arif Rishu (JKPS:1999), Principal, STC Talwara, has been transferred and posted to the post of Director, CTC Lethpora, against the available vacancy.

Benam Tosh (JKPS:1999) SSP EOW Jammu has been transferred and appointed Deputy Director SKPA Udhampur in place of Ramneesh Gupta.

Harmeet Singh Mehta (JKPS:2001), SSP Bandipora, has been transferred and posted as Commandant 13 IR against the available vacancy.

Javid Iqbal (JKPS:2001), Commandant 6 JKAP, has been transferred and posted as AIG CT and Intelligence.

Staff Officer Fizal Qureshi (JKPS:2002), IGP Crime, Jammu and Kashmir, has been transferred and posted as SSP EOW, Jammu.

Ramneesh Gupta (Jkps:2004), Deputy Director SKPA EDUUR, has been transferred and posted as SSP CICE Jammu.

AIG CT and Intelligence, Aijaz Ahmed Zargar (JKPS:2004) is transferred and posted as SSP Bandipora in place of Harmeet Singh Mehta. Handwara SSP Mushtaq Ahmed (JKPS:2004) has been transferred and appointed as Shopian SSP.

Ashiq Hussain Tak (JKPS:2008), awaiting appointment orders, has been posted as Deputy Director. CO 6 IR, against available vacancy.

Owais Rashid (JKPS:2012), awaiting appointment orders, has been posted as Addl. SP Ganderbal, against available vacancy.

Sarfaraz Bashir Ganai (JKPS:2012), awaiting appointment orders, has been posted as Deputy CO 11 IR against available vacancy.

d. Mustafa Bhat (JKPS:2012), awaiting appointment orders, has been posted as Deputy CO 17 IR against available vacancy.

Shahzada Kabir Mattoo (JKPS:2012), awaiting appointment orders, has been posted as Deputy CO 9 JKAP against available vacancy.

Ashish Gupta (JKPS:2012), awaiting appointment orders, has been posted as Deputy CO 5 IR against available vacancy.
