Train passengers have to face serious disruption during the festive period because employed engineering work is done across the country UK,
Network railway Has announced a serious delay in London Waterloo The major Christmas dates are “major upgrades” between Queenstown Road and Nine Elms stations.
After the Christmas is closed, between Saturday 27 December and Sunday 4 January, train services inside and outside Waterloo may be canceled or delayed.

The timetable cut will be applicable from 29 December to 4 January in Waterloo.
Queenstown Road station will remain closed due to renewal of track, switch and crossing for the entire period, the Vaxhall station will remain closed for four days between December 27 to December 30 and on 1 January.
According to network rail, Christmas and New Year will have major investment projects of over 130 million pounds.
There will be a delay in further West coast main lineThere is no train connecting Milton Keins and rugby from Christmas Day to 5 January as a junction has been changed in Hanslope.
Replacement of the bridge on M6 will also stop the rail trip between Preston and Carlisle from 31 December to 15 January, and due to the new signaling installation, no train from Carlisla and Lockerbi will run from 1 to 7 January.
As part of the Transpenine root upgrade, there will be no train between Leeds and York from Christmas Day to January 2.
Around Cambridge, no rail trip will be fixed from Christmas Day to 5 January for Stanstad Airport.
No train will run between December 25 and New Year’s Days at Stratford and Liverpool Street stations as engineering work and roof renewal is going on in the Bishopagate tunnel.
Vesax Marg Director, Mark Goodol said on behalf of the Network Rail: “We are giving prior information to the passengers that there will be changes in train services for visitors from Central London during the festive period.
“We are advising travelers to plan in advance and use alternative routes in the capital. We are sorry for the disruption of this shutdown between London Waterloo and Clafam Junction, although these tasks will provide a more reliable journey for all the people traveling on one of the busiest railways in the country.”
Helen Hamleen, the main network operator of the network rail, said the period between Christmas and the New Year is the cool and “best time” to complete the major projects.
He said: “We work with train operators to change route changes for passengers traveling and arrange railway replacement buses, but further plans are still very important. This year is especially the case because we have some very big plans to improve the railway, which means that people may have to travel with different routes instead of Christmas.”
