Mahindra reaches milestone, launches 100,000th Scorpio N

Mahindra Recently, the company reached a remarkable milestone with the launch of its 100,000th Scorpio N.

Since its launch in June 2022, Scorpio N has become a popular choice among car enthusiasts, with a wide range of model and engine options available.

The Scorpio N range comes in six variants: Z2, Z4, Z6, Z8, Z8L and Z8L 6-seater, ensuring there is something for everyone, with prices ranging from Rs 100 to Rs 100. 13.60 Lakhs Rs 21.97 Lakhs (ex-showroom).

Under the hood, the Scorpio N comes with two engine options. The first is a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 200 bhp of power at 5000 RPM and 380 Nm of torque at 1750-3000 RPM. The second variant is a 2.2-litre diesel engine that puts out 172 bhp at 3500 RPM and 400 Nm of torque at 1750-2750 RPM. Both engines are available with a choice of 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.

One of its distinguishing features is the all-wheel drive system, combined with Mahindra’s 4xplor terrain management system, which offers four terrain modes: Normal, Grass/Gravel/Snow, Mud/Ruts and Sand.

In terms of sales, Mahindra achieved impressive growth in January 2024, selling 43,068 SUVs, a significant increase of 31% over the same period last year. However, exports fell to 1,746 units in January, compared with 3,009 units in the same period last year, Cartoq reported.
