Even six days after the Maharashtra assembly election results came out, government formation is still in trouble. The formation of a grand coalition government remains unresolved. Meanwhile, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray on Saturday lashed out at Mahayuthy over the delay in government formation in Maharashtra.
Uddhav Thackeray claimed that the parties in the ruling grand alliance never thought they would come to power again. This is the reason for the delay in government formation in Maharashtra. Hours after Thackeray’s comments, the BJP announced the date for the formation of the new grand alliance government. The new Grand Alliance government will be sworn in at Azad Maidan in Mumbai on the evening of December 5 in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He has no plan who will become CM-Uddhav
Uddhav Thackeray said this while meeting social activist Dr Baba Aadhav, who was protesting against the alleged misuse of EVM and money power in the assembly elections. Thackeray, who was sitting next to Adav, asked why there was no celebration after the great victory of Mahayutthir alliance. Meanwhile, Adav ended his excitement by taking a glass of water from Thackeray.
Former chief minister Thackeray said: “When Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) was formed, President’s rule came into effect. This time no one claimed to form the government, but there was no President’s rule either. He Says Mahayutthi allies never thought they would come to power again, so they had no plan as to who would be the chief minister and who would be the ministers, which is why government formation takes time.
VVPAT documents should be calculated – Thackeray
The Shiv Sena (UBT) chief also demanded that all Voter Verified Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) slips be accounted for. “Anyone can see that the vote has been cast,” Thackeray asked. But how to verify how the vote was recorded? During this period, he also challenged the vote in the parliamentary elections.

Thackeray said that a total of 7.6 million votes were cast in the last hour of voting on November 20, which means an average of 1,000 people voted at each polling station during this period. He claimed the queues outside polling stations did not reflect this.
