Maharashtra minister suffers fractured femur and dislocated wrist after falling at home

Pune:

Maharashtra Minister Dilip Valls Patil on Thursday said he was injured after a fall at his home.

“I fractured my left femur and dislocated my right wrist after I slipped and fell at home on Wednesday night,” he posted on social media.

“My condition is stable and as per the doctors’ advice, I will undergo surgery soon. Orthopedic specialist Dr Niraj Adkar and cardiologist Dr Sadanand Rao have advised me to take more rest in the coming days. I will be admitted to their hospital soon and will be under their care, ” added the senior NCP leader.
