Mumbai, September 29 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Chief Minister’s short -term employment course program in Maharashtra on 9 October.
Maharashtra’s Skill Development Minister, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Mangal Prabhat Lodha said on Monday that on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Amrit Mahotsav birthday, the department has decided to train 75,000 trainees every year, which will start through a total of 2,506 batches through a total-time-time-tall-tall.
Minister Lodha said that in a short time, by providing employment-oriented training to the youth, skilled manpower will be formed according to the needs of the industry, and large scale skill training will be provided to women and youth of rural areas to create opportunities for skill-based self-employment.
He said that this scheme will play an important role in taking Maharashtra at the forefront of new businesses in modern technology.
“The government has decided to start the short -term employment course program of the Chief Minister outside the time of the institution using infrastructure facilities in industrial training institutes and technical school centers in the state. According to this, an online admission system has been decided, an online admission system has been developed. The fee for Rs 1000 to 5,000 per month will be provided in 419 government industrial training institutes and 141 government technical schools.
According to the minister, under the Chief Minister’s short-term employment course program, various new-age and traditional employment-oriented short-term commercial courses will be taught.
These include courses in adative manufacturing, aerospace structure fitter, internet of things, electric vehicles, solar energy, drone technology, social media influencer, cyber security, artificial intelligence, green hydrogen and mobile repair technicians.
These courses will include students who are training in ITIs and have completed ITIs, students who have diploma, degree in higher and technical education and students who are running and have completed class 10th and 12th education. Training will be provided in 419 government industrial training institutes and 141 government technical schools.
Sources in the department said that 364 batch are dedicated to women candidates in courses in emerging areas, while 408 batches of 408 batch business courses like electric vehicles, solar energy, green hydrogen production, AI and Internet of Things. The “Vedic Sanskar Junior Assistant” for the upcoming Kumbh Mela will be two batch of business.
