Madhya Pradesh is bringing new pace of progress in every field: PM Modi on the state’s foundation day

New Delhi, Nov 1 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday extended warm wishes to the people of Madhya Pradesh on the occasion of its Foundation Day and praised its rich heritage and rapid progress.

In a heartfelt message posted on Twitter, the Prime Minister highlighted the state’s cultural heritage and its growing contribution to the vision of “Vikas Bharat” (Developed India).

Prime Minister Modi posted on Twitter, “Warm greetings to all the members of my family in Madhya Pradesh, a state that cherishes its glorious history and cultural heritage, on the occasion of the State’s Foundation Day. Our province, situated in the heart of the country, is today bringing a new pace of progress in every field by giving priority to the aspirations of every individual. I am confident that the talented and hardworking people of this land will play an invaluable role in fulfilling the resolve of a developed India.” (Translated from Hindi).

Congratulating the Prime Minister, Union Home Minister Amit Shah lauded the state’s continued journey towards prosperity and well-being. “Warm greetings to the residents of Madhya Pradesh, the land of cultural heritage, on the State’s Foundation Day,” he posted on Instagram.

He said, “This state, blessed with natural beauty, cultural heritage and rich history, is today making steady progress towards public welfare, cleanliness and prosperity. I pray to God for the continued progress of the people of the state.”

Union Minister and BJP national president JP Nadda also extended his good wishes, calling Madhya Pradesh the “heart of India” and a land of spiritual significance.

He wrote, “On the foundation day of Madhya Pradesh, the land of cultural centres, spiritual heritage and natural beauty, the heart of India, the sacred land of Baba Mahakal and Narmada Maiya, I extend my warm greetings to all the residents of the state. May Madhya Pradesh with its unique culture and glorious heritage continue to progress by setting new milestones of development – this is my wish.”

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav stressed on unity and collective efforts in building a self-reliant and prosperous Madhya Pradesh on the 70th Foundation Day of the state.

“Hearty congratulations and best wishes to all of you on the 70th Foundation Day of Madhya Pradesh. This 70-year journey of Madhya Pradesh has been a joyous journey of dedication, determination and continuous development. This day reminds us of the hard work of our ancestors, their determination, development through public participation and the faith and devotion of them and all of us towards democratic values,” he posted on Twitter.

Let us all come together and play an active role in building a ‘developed, self-reliant and strong Madhya Pradesh’. This is the right opportunity to make our soil, our motherland, our state a leader and pioneer in every field through collective participation.

Madhya Pradesh, formed on November 1, 1956, is celebrating its 70th Foundation Day this year, celebrating seven decades of cultural richness, progress and development in the heart of India.
