Madhuri Dixit stars in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 with Vidya Balan and Kartik Aaryan; plays the role: Report

According to a new report, Madhuri Dixit will star in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 along with Vidya Balan and Kartik Aaryan. On Monday night, Vidya and Kartik surprised everyone by revealing that they are working together for ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’. Now a new report has emerged that Madhuri will also be seen in the film, making her debut in the Bhool Bhulaiyaa universe. Reports not only revealed her casting but also claimed that Madhuri plays the role of a ghost in the film.

A source told Mid Day, “The team feels that another spirit will add to the story. So, it will be Rooh Baba opposite Madhuri and Vidya. Two ghosts. By bringing the two heroines together on screen for the first time, the makers have played an ace card.” The report adds that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will go on floors next month. Reports also claim that Sara Ali Khan is being considered for the female lead in the film.

In response to these claims, the source said: “Discussions are still in the early stages. Nothing has been confirmed yet.”

Meanwhile, director Anees Bazmee confirmed that Akshay Kumar will not be a part of the film. Speaking to Zoom, the filmmaker said, “No, Akshay is not a part of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. I would have loved to work with him but unfortunately, I cannot write a film that we can work together in. In the future, of course Yes.” He mentioned that the shooting of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is scheduled to take place on March 10, but Anees also pointed out that he is yet to “confirm the exact date”.

“Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2” starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, with a wonderful performance by Tabu, is a perfect Bollywood horror comedy. The film was released in 2022 and has grossed over Rs 180 crore at the box office in India. Rajpal Yadav also stars in the film.
