Luke Humphries is ready for war luke littler Trying to win the world championship but not willing to be bad.
Humphreys displaced his great rival at the top of the world rankings after Littler won Grand Slam of Darts in November.

“It’s tongue in cheek, but we’re going to go for it and see who can do it.
“There are people moaning that it’s boring. I mean, I don’t know what to say.
“We’re just doing our job. I’m doing my job. I’m winning. He’s doing his job and winning.”
“If you’re not going to beat him, you’re going to have to beat me. And that’s a tough task.
“I have to beat him to win. He has to beat me. It’s a tough game. You have to play well to win, it takes a special performance.”
Unlike some of the other great rivalries in the sport, it is a friendly rivalry, with the pair enjoying a positive relationship and often interacting on stage together.
Humphries, who has often described himself as Littler’s big brother, isn’t willing to be bad to gain an edge.
Asked if the rivalry is sometimes too friendly, Humphries said: “Not really, because I’m not really a bad person, so for me, like, going in there, trying to look like a grumpy person, it’s not a good fit for me.
“It’s never super-friendly. I can play nice, even when I’m like that.”
“It happens that sometimes you get caught up in the moment. You enjoy it a bit. Honestly, there is nothing wrong in that. I think it has no impact on my performance.”
