Here are some nuggets from Mets’ spring training on Friday:
Guillorme’s night
Luis Guillorme had been among the slumping Mets players this spring, but he delivered two hits and three RBIs in a 6-1 exhibition victory over the Marlins in Port St. Lucie.
Guillorme reached base three times and is batting .250 in the Grapefruit League.

Quiet stick
Francisco Alvarez went 0-for-2 with a walk and is batting .130 this spring without a home run, with much of his focus on handling the Mets’ pitching staff as he shares catching duties with Tomas Nido.
The Mets’ other primary catcher, Omar Narvaez, is playing for Venezuela in the World Baseball Classic.
Caught my eye
Starling Marte stole second base in the first inning.
It was the first stolen base this spring for Marte, who is coming off double groin surgery.
Saturday’s schedule
Max Scherzer is scheduled to face the Astros in West Palm Beach, Fla.
