Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on Wednesday confirmed that pacer Shivam Mavi has been ruled out of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 following an injury. LSG issued a statement and said that Maavi was part of the team’s pre-season training camp in Lucknow before the start of the season.
“Lucknow Supergiants’ Shivam Mavi has unfortunately missed the remainder of IPL 2024 due to injury. The talented right-arm fast bowler joined us after the auction in December and has been part of the training camp since pre-season,” LSG pointed out.
It added that the team will support the right-arm fast bowler in his rehabilitation process in the coming days.
“He has been a key part of the team this season, so we and Shivam are disappointed that his season is coming to an end so quickly. The team will continue to support Shivam and is committed to his recovery. We wish him a speedy and complete recovery.” Come back and feel confident that he’ll come back healthier and stronger.”
