Filmed for new series Love Island: All Stars Due to a wildfire near the South African villa, the show was postponed and the set was evacuated.
Production on a new series of the reality show had already begun when a fire broke out on the set.
It is reported the sunDue to safety reasons, filming was canceled and the cast and hosts of the new series Maya Jamalocated far away from Franschhoek, South Africa.
A source told the publication: “There was a fire near the villa and Maya, the cast and all the production crew were working there in case a fire suddenly came close to the villa, which was considered dangerous.
“They have now canceled today’s shoot and hope to resume tomorrow,” they continued. “ITV will always put the welfare of cast and crew above programmes.”
The source added that the development is a “huge headache” ahead of the show’s planned release date on Monday (January 12).

“This will bring everything closer to get enough footage for Monday night’s launch event,” the source said.
“Of course, if the fires still pose a risk, the show will be postponed again. In South Africa, the wait is very tense.”
Love Island: All Stars is a spin-off of the popular ITV show love island Reality series where single adults live together in a luxury villa, mingle and find romance.

A spokesperson for ITV said: “Due to ongoing bushfires in the area, we have evacuated the Love Island production set as a precautionary measure.”
