Lop Sunil Sharma urged LG to leave the need for Urdu for Naib Tehsildar Examination

Srinagar, June 12, KDC: In J&K Assembly and Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sunil Sharma, the leader (LOP) on Thursday requested J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha that he is working as a non-physical work for Urdu language working knowledge for the Naib Tehsildar examination.

The LoP, along with BJP Jammu and Kashmir President Sat Paul Sharma, today called the Lieutenant Governor.

An official spokesperson said that Sunil Sharma demanded the intervention of the Lieutenant Governor in the issue of Naib Tehsildar’s aspirations and requested him to prepare the work of Urdu language for the Naib Tehsildar examination to make the work of Urdu language non-individual.

He said that given the UT of the five official languages of Jammu and Kashmir, compulsory knowledge of a language violates the constitutional principles of equal opportunity and administrative impartiality, and it creates an inappropriate obstacle, especially damage to aspirations from Jammu Division.

Senior BJP leaders also requested the Lieutenant Governor to translate government documents and procedures into all official languages of J&K UT. (KDC)
