One of the busiest roads in London has crashed into two people.
The incident took place some time before 1 pm at the junction of St. Margaret Street. Regent StreetA tourist hotspot that attracts more than eight million tourists every year.
An 80 -year -old pensioner suffered a “fatal” injuries and was taken to a major trauma center in the hospital.
Another patient was treated but was discharged at the scene.
An eyewitness told mirror: “About five people were giving rest to the elderly gentleman after the accident. Some put their heads on a jacket, while the other was holding his hands until the emergency driver’s team arrived.”
A Metropolitan Police The spokesperson said: “The police called a bus and a pedestrian at 12.52 pm on Monday 28 July after a collision between a pedestrian.
“Pedestrians, a man, in the 80s, was treated at the scene and rushed to the hospital London ambulance serviceHis condition is considered fatal.
“The incident is going on and bus services in the area are on diversion. No arrests have been made.”
A spokesperson of the London Ambulance Service said: “We were called today at 12.48PM for reports of a road traffic collision at the junction of Margaret Street and Regent Street, W1W.
“We sent resources to the scene, including ambulance crew, bicycle paramedics, an event response officer and members of our dangerous area reaction team (Heart). We also sent London’s air ambulance.
“We treated two people at the scene. We took a patient as a priority at a major trauma center. We evaluated and discharged another patient at the scene.”
