Meanwhile, Congress leader and Lok Sabha leader of Opposition (LOP) Rahul Gandhi repeated the “ceasefire” claims made by US President Donald Trump criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his silence on the “ceasefire”.

“How is the Prime Minister making a statement? What will say PM, that Trump is Karva? (What would he say? Can Trump announce it? He cannot say this, but this is the truth. The whole world knows that Trump has declared a ceasefire. We can’t hide from reality,” Gandhi said here.

He said, “This is not just about a ceasefire. There are many major issues we want to discuss with defense, defense construction and operation vermilion. The situation is not normal; the whole nation knows,” he said.

Gandhi said that the Prime Minister is not able to provide a single response to Trump’s claims about a ceasefire, which he has repeated 25 times so far.

“Those who call themselves ‘patriot’ have run away. The Prime Minister is unable to make a single statement. Trump claimed 25 times that he has declared a ceasefire. Who is that? It is not his job. However, the Prime Minister did not respond once. It is reality. It is reality.”

Gandhi said, “He has destroyed our foreign policy. You can hardly rely on your fingers.

This came after a recent statement by Donald Trump, where he reiterated his claims of “stopping the war between India and Pakistan” in the name of trade deals. (AI)
