Dr Jitendra Singh, a two-time MP and junior minister in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s cabinet, is targeting a hat-trick in Udhampur in the upcoming polls.

He made his debut in the Lok Sabha elections in 2014, defeating Ghulam Nabi Azad, the former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir and then Congress leader, by over 60,000 votes. Giant killer. Additionally, he is a professor of diabetes and endocrinology and the author of eight books.

4. Dr. Singh started his political career in 2008 when he was appointed as the spokesperson of the umbrella organization of right-wing political parties during the Amarnath land transfer controversy. He retired as professor of endocrinology at the Government Medical College, Jammu, and joined the BJP.
