Agencies are on alert following the terror attack in Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir. The attack is considered the largest target killing since 2019. According to sources, after the election, terrorist organizations want to attract everyone’s attention, so they want to carry out targeted killings. The mastermind of this attack is in Pakistan. A reward of one lakh rupees was placed on his head.

Seven people were shot dead by terrorists in Sonamag area of ​​Ganderbal on Sunday night. Among the dead were five non-Natives, including two officers and three workers. In addition, a local doctor was also killed in the attack. Five persons were injured in the attack and have been admitted to the sub-district hospital and SKIMS Hospital, Srinagar. The terrorist attack occurred near a tunnel under construction.

According to sources, the terrorists acted like this because they wanted to attract everyone’s attention after the election and carry out targeted killings. This is the largest targeted killing incident since 2019.

Witnesses of the terrorist attack said it should have been around 8.30pm. When it was dinner time, all the workers working in the tunnel gathered in the mess to eat. While the food preparation was still going on, three armed terrorists suddenly arrived there and started shooting wildly at the workers present. Before anyone could understand, the terrorists began to selectively target workers. Two vehicles were also burned to ashes in the fire.

So far, seven people have been killed in this terrorist attack, including a local doctor. Five tunnel workers were seriously injured in the attack and are undergoing treatment at the Sher Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) in Srinagar.
