LIVE UPDATES: Arvind Kejriwal's petition to be heard in court later today

New Delhi:

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has challenged his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with the liquor policy scam case before the Delhi High Court. A bench of Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma, after hearing preliminary arguments from both sides, referred the matter for hearing later in the day. Mr Kejriwal’s lawyer, senior advocate Abhishek Singhvi, questioned the agency’s “delay tactics”
Additional Solicitor General SV Raju said the ED received a copy of Mr Kejriwal’s petition only yesterday and asked three weeks to submit a detailed reply. The court will hear the case again after hearing all the cases on the supplementary list.
