Budgam, 21 May (KDC): On Wednesday, a live shell was recovered from a botanical area in Bathar area of Ompora in Budgam district of Central Kashmir.
Sources told Kashmir.com that shell was found in the botanical area related to Ajaz Ahmed Wani, son of Wali Mohammed, a resident of Bathar Ompora in Budgam district.
A team from the police station Budgam reached the spot and the shell was recovered. A squad was allegedly alerted to assess and neutralize explosives.
Police said the circumstances around the presence of Shell are being investigated. “Further details are awaited,” said an official. (KDC)
