Lisa Snowdon has revealed that she has “experimented” with women sexually in the past and has no regrets about it.
The former model, 51, who is engaged to boyfriend George Smart, discussed some of her past romantic affairs in her new book Just Getting Started.
The This Morning star shared how sleeping with women can be a more “sensual” experience than with a man.
She wrote, “I was naturally very attracted to the opposite sex, and sometimes the same sex, and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t experiment a bit – that was fun and I certainly don’t regret it.”
“A friend told me that many menopausal women who are attracted to women act on it because they feel like they don’t need men anymore. And I kind of understand.

Lisa said: ‘I’d be lying if I said I didn’t experiment a bit – that was fun and I certainly don’t regret it’
“Sleeping with women can be a much more sensual, gentle, intense, and giving experience.”
Lisa has been happily engaged to George since 2016 and recently revealed that she went through early menopause at the age of 44 and will no longer be able to have biological children with her partner.
In an interview last week, Lisa said she accepts having kids isn’t part of it, admitting she feels “everything is as it’s meant to be.”
She told Prima magazine, “I’m now at peace with the fact that I don’t have kids. I feel like everything is as it should be.
“When George and I got back together, I said, ‘You know, if we want kids, we should probably go through with that.’
“He said, ‘Why don’t you and me just go on an adventure together?’ It immediately took the pressure off.”
It comes after Lisa shared how she found out that an abusive ex-partner cheated on her after she contracted a sexually transmitted disease.
Lisa, 51, wrote: ‘I finally found out about one cheating incident because it gave me a really nasty STD – the kind that only comes from talking about it a lot.
“I was mortified – 19 years old and riddled with a vicious sexually transmitted disease. It made my blood boil and I was extremely disgusted.’
She also said, “Sleeping with women can be a much more sensual, gentle, intense and giving experience”

While Lisa doesn’t mention her ex’s name, she does describe some of the terrible times she went through with him and notes how forcefully he controlled her.
She wrote, “I’ve come to realize that words go so much deeper than physical abuse, and that their impact packs such a punch that I don’t think you’ll ever be able to forget them.”
“That’s how it started: words, embellishments, taking advantage of me, increasingly eroding my self-confidence and self-esteem. Bullying, pure and simple.
‘His mood got worse, as he was constantly bullying me, and not content with using all my money (he was not making any money at all), he also repeatedly cheated on me while I was on shoots.
“I now know he was very insecure and in turn he tried to make me feel that way to maintain control and power which of course worked as I wasn’t into mind games and certainly didn’t understand that’s what was going on used to be. on.
Lisa has said she hopes opening up means she can help save the life of another person who is being abused.
