Lily Allen: Singer says having kids ‘completely ruined’ her music career

Lily Allen says her two children made her “complete” but they “completely ruined” her music career.

The 38-year-old British singer has two daughters – Ethel Marie, 11, and Marnie Rose, 9 – with ex-husband Sam Cooper.

When asked if she would reconsider her career after having children, Allen joked: “Yeah, my kids ruined my career.”

“I love them, they complete me but as far as pop stars are concerned, they completely ruin it,” she added on the Radio Times podcast.
