LG Sinha handed over appointment letters to 80 numbs of terror victims in Jammu

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today handed over the appointment letters after 80 of the Kins (NOK) of terrorist victims in Jammu.

After the historic incident in Baramulla, where 40 terrorist-evictim families received appointment letters, it is still another important step in giving justice to people suffering from terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.

The families of terror victims spoke boldly, shared their annoying experiences and highlighted the role of Pakistan-posed terrorists and their sympathy.

The Lieutenant Governor paid tribute to the citizens martyrs and shared the pain and sorrow of the families of the victims of terrorism.

“The common citizens of Jammu and Kashmir tolerated the inexplicable trauma caused by Pakistan -sponsored terrorists and terrorist ecosystems, which were drawing wires. Terrorist victim families were threatened with silence. Their sufferings were ignored to mold criminals and they supported them.

Under the leadership of Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we are firm to crush terrorism and remove terrorism organizations for justice. I assure the terrorist victim families that the culprits will be punished, ”said the Lieutenant Governor.

The Lieutenant Governor narrated the history of 21 July 2001 when Mrs. Tara Devi, resident of Cherji village, Kishtwar sacrificed his life by protecting his son from Pakistan-posed terrorists.

“On 30 April 1998, Pakistani terrorists killed the neck of Mrs. Gyan Devi and her one and a half year old son Kikar Singh in Balgran village of the installment.

On 5 April 2005, Mr. Ashfaq Ahmed from Doda, a member of the Village Defense Committee was martyred in an encounter with terrorists. His son Shamim Ahmed was only 7 years old at that time.

For decades, countless family and their loved ones lost to Pakistan -sponsored terrorism, they were only ignored figures, their pain, their tears were ignored. Finally, after this time, justice is knocking at their door.

After years of sorrow and pain, the families of Kishtwar, Doda, Ramban Poonch, Rajouri, Samb, Kathua, County and Rasi get justice.

The victory of religion over unrighteousness is unavoidable. We are committed to ensuring justice for every terrorist victim’s family, which gives their most important responsibility to their rehabilitation, jobs, financial assistance and livelihood opportunities. This initial steps towards Justice have already brought a ray of hope to the terror -affected families. This is the beginning of a new era of justice in Jammu and Kashmir.

For a very long time, Pakistan sponsored terrorists and its supporters, the conflict entrepreneurs and separatist ecosystems suppressed the voice of thousands of aggrieved families. The fabricated story of separatist elements is now uprooted, ”said the Lieutenant Governor.

The Lieutenant Governor noticed that an internal web portal has been launched and a centralized database of terrorist victim families is being developed to monitor and process all cases, which ensures timely relief. Additionally, the helpline is now active for the victims to register complaints in every district of Jammu and Kashmir. Further support is available through the Divisional Helpline conducted by employees by trained employees in the offices of Divisional Commissioners.

In every district, deputy commissioners are now receiving a stable flow of applications, which are being thoroughly investigated. We are also integrating a mechanism in the portal to increase self -employment assistance to members of terrorist victims. In addition, appointment letters and other assistance will be handed over to a large number of terrorist victim families in Srinagar on 5 August. The Lieutenant Governor said that this process will continue until every terrorist victim’s family gets justice.

The Lieutenant Governor thanked all the officials for working with sensitivity and readiness to address the issues of terrorist victims.

On this occasion, the Lieutenant Governor also spoke on the unfortunate incident in Jammu on 24 July. “Do not touch and guilty” is our policy. The police have taken effective action. SIT has been formed and a magisterial inquiry has been ordered. Two officers have been suspended. Further action will be taken based on the investigation report, ”he said.

The Lieutenant Governor also congratulated the security forces, Jammu and Kashmir Police and all personnel to end Pakistan -sponsored terrorists during the anti -terrorism operation in Srinagar.

Chief Secretary, Atal Dulu; DGP, Nalin Prabhat; Principal Secretary Home, Chandrakar Bharti; Commissioner Secretary, G G Raju; Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar; IGP Jammu, Bhim Sen Tutti, Deputy Commissioners of various districts, senior officials and family members of the victims of terrorism were present.

Honorable Chairman of District Development Councils, Honorable Members of Legislative Assembly, and members of various social organizations were also present.
