Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha Addressed The Medhavi Chhatra Samman Samaroh Organized by Amar Ujala Group at Convention Center Jammu, Today.
Lieutenant Governor implicated meritorious students of class 10 and 12 from JKBOSE. He greeted and promoted all the students.
“This is inspiring to see the growing spirit of our younger generation and is equally determined for nation building. Our students’ adventure will ensure a bright future for nation and humanity.” Lieutenant Governor said.
In his address, the Lieutenant Governor asked the educational institutions and the teaching community to focus on the overall development of youth, provide life values, encourage new ideas, promote creativity and independent thinking among students, while they have access to global standards of education.
“I strongly believe that the right balance of science and culture will provide students the ability to face future challenges. To fully exploit India’s growing economic power, school education should focus on developing scientific nature and curiosity among students,” said the Lieutenant Governor.
He urged the Amar Ujala Group to dedicate a special award to identify and honor students for unique innovations and research. He said that unique ideas of students, original and specific essays and research papers that reflect their personal personality and important thinking should be honored and celebrated.
The Lieutenant Governor saw that the Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has gifted the national education policy to the education system of the country, which has empowered the younger generation.
He said that the emphasis of education policy on value-based education has ensured that young students not only acquire knowledge, but also develop a moral and moral foundation to become responsible citizens.
“True knowledge is transformative. It changes the life of the seeker. It promotes new innovations, discoveries and research by establishing main values like integrity, patience and honesty. True knowledge allows a person to make meaningful contribution to society and nation.
We should understand that the right education triggers curiosity and creative thinking and motivates students to find out unknown.
Nutrition of future-oriented talents and creating a favorable environment should be our main responsibility, where students gain knowledge and education in their best forms, ”he said.
The Lieutenant Governor also called upon the youth to find their inner voice and gain excellence in life.
He said, “You are the future of this nation and its development engine. A Vikasi is on your shoulders to operate India towards India,” he further said.
