Srinagar, August 12: Lieutenant Governor Mr. Manoj Sinha today implicated 79 cyclists who participated in the pedal for the ‘Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat’ rally organized by the border security force. The cycle rally was held as a part of the 79th Independence Day celebrations.
Cyclelists with 40 local youth and 39 BSF personnel covered 79 km (BSF Campus Bandipora-Manasabal- Sumbal-Shulyng-Hyderpora-Bakshi Stadium- Frontier Headquarters, BSF Kashmir, Hamhama) and celebrated the spirit of our India’s diversity, National Unity and Foster.
The Lieutenant Governor congratulated the BSF, the first line of defense of the country, to pay homage to the brave soldiers and officials who have shown incredible valor, courage and sacrifice to maintain the unity and integrity of the nation. He said that the rally will also encourage the youth to join BSF, Army and Police Force.
“The ‘Pedal for Eac Bharat, Shrestha Bharat’ rally of BSF inspired the younger generation passing through many towns and villages and reminded them of our founding fathers and ideals of their selfless service.
The Lieutenant Governor noticed that all cyclists are a living symbol of India’s permanent tradition of courage. He said, he said that 79 km is a symbol of 79 years of India’s independence, its journey in the last 79 years represents the real power of the society, and each military symbolizes the strength of the country.
“From Kashmir to Kanyakumari, India is one. The hearts and souls of 140 crore Indians are united and we are a big family of 140 million members. This feeling and bondage of the family should strengthen our unity. We should promote the spirit of ‘first’ and every citizen should prioritize nation-building on personal interests.”
The Lieutenant Governor called the younger generation and people of all sections of the society to self-introduce and vowed to dedicate themselves to the target of Vikasit Jammu and Kashmir and Vikasit India.
The Lieutenant Governor also urged the society to be cautious and cautious against the divisive elements who are trying to disrupt peace and social harmony. He further invited enlightened citizens and members of civil society to participate in the tricolor campaign, and encouraged every family to be a part of this Maha Yagya.
On this occasion, the Lieutenant Governor also paid tribute to the citizens who were martyred in Pahalgam in the Pakistan-paved terrorist attack.
“Through Operation Mahadev and Operation Sindoor, we have avenged Pakistan’s cruelty. If the terrorist country Pakistan sheds the blood of our citizens, it will have to pay a very heavy price,” he said.
IG BSF Kashmir Frontier, Mr. Ashok Yadav; IG STC BSF Kashmir, Mr. Solomon Yash Kumar Minz; Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-ud-Din Bhat; SSP Budgam Shri Nikhil Borkar, BSF, Civil and Police Administration, Cyclists and other senior officials of the youth, were present at a large number of felicitation ceremony.
