LG Sinha assures jobs for terrorist-hit families within a month

Web Desk, 29/06/2025

Srinagar, June 29, KDC: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said on Sunday that all eligible family members of citizens killed by terrorists and entitled to government jobs should present their documents to the deputy commissioners concerned without any delay. He assured them that his appointments would be processed within a month.

In a historic initiative with the aim of giving justice to the victims of terrorism for a long time, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha met several families of Kashmiri citizens on Sunday, killed by Pakistan -backed militants. During emotional conversation, LG reiterated the government’s strong commitment to accept the pain of these families and ensure justice after decades of silence and neglect.

LG Sinha said in Anantnag, “For decades, he was marginalized and his voices were not heard. Justice was denied. His pain was ignored, his stories were unknown, and the truth was deliberately suppressed,” LG Sinha said in Anantnag, according to Anantnag, according to the Srinagar -based news agency Kashmir Dot Com, today, the government supports them, the government supported them and their strengths, today, the government supports them, the government -based news agency today, the government -based news agency today, the government supports them, and the government today, the government supports them, the government today, the government supports them, and the government today, the government supports them, and the government supports them, the government today, the government supports them, and the government today, the government supports them, the government supports them and their strengths with these families today, Stands to respect ,

The Lieutenant Governor admitted that for years, the truth was buried under the influence and fear of the terrorist ecosystem. He expressed harmony on how, in the past, even the terrorists were given the funeral procession, while thousands of innocent Kashmiris killed by the terrorists forgot and remained inadvertently.

He said that hundreds of families have now come forward with courage, in which Pakistan and its allies in the valley are named as criminals of their grief. “Now families are highlighting Pakistan and their supporters inside Kashmir,” LG Sinha said.

To provide concrete relief, LG directed all eligible family members who deserve government jobs, so that they can immediately present their documents to their respective deputy commissioners. He assured that his appointment process would be completed within a month. Additionally, he promised financial assistance and guidance to family members interested in establishing his own business undertakings.

Importantly, in cases where FIRs were not lodged against the killings of these citizens, LG said that clear directions would be issued to the officials concerned to register such cases immediately.

The LT Governor also announced that steps would be taken to recover the land and properties of the families of the victims, which had been illegally encroached by terrorist sympathy and separatist elements over the years. (KDC)
