LG Mata pays obedience to Kheer Bhavani

Srinagar, June 03: On the auspicious occasion of Jayashatha Ashtami, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha commanded Mata Kheer Bhavani and prayed for the peace and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir and the good of all one and all.

During the visit to the holy pilgrimage site of Mata Kheer Bhavani at Tulmullah, Genderbal, the Lieutenant Governor interacted with the devotees and extended his heartfelt greetings on the auspicious occasion.

The Lieutenant Governor appreciated the district administration, and all stakeholders for their coordinated efforts to ensure the smooth operation of the fair.

Talking with media persons, the Lieutenant Governor confirmed the J&K administration’s commitment to make the pilgrimage of devotees of Mata Kheer Bhavani convenient, safe and troublesome.

“A large number of devotees visited the Mata Kheer Bhavani temple today and this is a good sign. I think after the heinous terrorist attack on 22 April, this is the first time that such a large number of people have gathered at a special place in Kashmir.

Preparations for the annual Shri Amarnath ji Yatra are in full swing. Construction work is also going on in the passenger foundation. We have made all necessary arrangements. For the safety of Yatris, the authorities are cautious. I request pilgrims across the country to come to Shri Amarnathji Yatra, ”said the Lieutenant Governor.

The Lieutenant Governor also interacted with devotees and members of the Kashmiri Pandit community and assured them of proper consideration and proper prevention of the issues he exposed. He also reviewed the progress of traveling building at Mata Kheer Bhavani Temple.
