Lenovo announced on Tuesday that it will update its Legion series of gaming laptops in China with the latest processors and graphics cards from Intel and Nvidia. The new Lenovo Legion 5i, Legion 7i, Legion Pro 5i and Legion Pro 7i are equipped with up to 14th generation Intel Core i9 CPU and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 GPU. According to the company, these laptops run Windows 11 out of the box and can charge from zero to 80% in 30 minutes.

All four models in Lenovo’s updated Legion gaming laptop range feature up to 16-inch PureSight displays with variable refresh rates of up to 240Hz and peak brightness of up to 500 nits. They run Windows 11 Pro and feature up to a 14th-generation Intel Core i9-14900HX CPU and Lenovo’s dedicated LA1 AI chip, along with up to 32GB of RAM. The Lenovo Legion 5i and Legion 7i come with up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPU, while the “Pro” models come with up to an RTX 4090 GPU.

On the new Lenovo Legion laptops, you can get up to 2TB of PCIe SSD storage. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.1, as well as up to four USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, an Ethernet port, and a 3.5mm audio jack hole. The standard and professional versions come with 80Whr and 100Whr batteries respectively.

Equipped with a Full HD camera and two 2W speakers with Nahimic Audio and Dolby Atmos support, the laptops feature Lenovo TrueStrike gaming keyboards with RGB lighting on each key. According to the company, the Lenovo Legion 5i and Legion Pro 5i both weigh 2.5kg and measure 363.4×260.4×26.75mm, while the Legion 7i and Legion Pro 7i measure 363.4×262.15×25.9mm and weigh 2.8 Kilogram.
