According to the company, Lava Prowatch will be launched in India later this month. Ahead of the upcoming smartwatch’s debut in China, the local smartphone brand has started promoting some of the features of the upcoming smartwatch through its social media channels. The company hints that the Lava Prowatch will support fitness tracking features and possibly interchangeable straps. It is also said to come with a durable display that is scratch-resistant, as well as a fast user interface.

In a media invite issued on Tuesday, the Noida-based smartphone maker announced that the Lava Prowatch will be launched in India on April 23. The launch will take place at 11 a.m., the company said. The invitation also suggests that the Prowatch will feature a circular display, but no further details about the wearable have been revealed.

Meanwhile, a trailer shared by the company on X (formerly Twitter) revealed some of Prowatch’s features.the latest posts suggestion The device will feature a rugged display that can withstand some external force, and it may also be Scratch resistant. Another image shows a circular display that appears to be housed in a metal chassis, a button and a crown.

The company also hinted at fitness tracking features such as activity and Heart rate monitoring, while claiming it will provide more accurate tracking than other products.Another article suggests the watch will support Interchangeable straps. It’s unclear whether the device will run Google’s Wear OS, which allows users to install apps on wearables.

The upcoming Lava Prowatch is expected to be Lava’s second fitness tracker – the company launched Lava BeFIT in January 2021, which supports SpO2 monitoring, fitness and sleep tracking, notification mirroring and waterproofing. More details about the Lava Prowatch are likely to be revealed ahead of its launch in the country in the coming days.
