Democratic lawmaker says Justice Department only released ‘50% of Epstein dossier’
Rep. James Walkinshaw, D-Va., accused the Justice Department of withholding most of Epstein’s documents after releasing more than 3 million documents on Friday.
“Today, the Trump Justice Department released 50 percent of the Epstein dossier and refused to release the rest,” Walkinshaw wrote on X on Friday night. “Why are they hiding the full truth? We will continue to fight for the transparency survivors of Epstein’s crimes demand. This cover-up is indefensible.”
Earlier, Deputy Attorney General Todd Branch said the massive data dump complied with federal law and “marked the end of a very comprehensive” review process.

Donald Trump’s name appears more than 3,000 times in latest version, according to analysis The Independent—— Use the search function on the DOJ website.
This comes despite Deputy Attorney General Todd Branch’s insistence that there is no new evidence that would be “satisfactory” – an indirect reference to the conspiracy about the president.
“I can guarantee that we followed the statute, we followed the bill, and we did not protect President Trump,” Branch said at a press conference Friday morning.

The names and faces of several other people labeled as “employees” or “girlfriends” were also redacted.
