Late Queen disappointed with ‘deal’ between King Charles and William

The late Queen Elizabeth II should be disappointed with the alleged deal between King Charles and Prince William.

Royal expert Clive Owen reveals in conversation with royal expert daily express The 75-year-old monarch may hand over the reins to his heir sooner than expected.

“I think Charles felt it was his duty to wait so long, but he also knew he was the oldest person ever to be crowned.”

“I think the deal has been struck that when Charles turns 80 he will resign and hand over [to William]”, explains the author of The Last Queen.

“The extent to which he is handing things over now is very clear. He knows William is better suited to the monarchy than he is,” he added.

It’s worth noting that King Charles’ mother is known as the longest-reigning monarch in British history.

Since taking the throne at the age of 25, the Queen continued to serve the royal family until her death after more than 70 years on the throne, despite facing numerous health issues.

Her loyalty to the royal family stems from her vow to serve the public until she is physically unable to do so, and her belief that a monarch’s reign is determined by “divine appointment.”
