Labor MP’s office decreased in ashes after setting fire to suspect arson

A Labor The MP’s constituency office was reduced to debris and ash after being destroyed in the fire overnight on Thursday (11 September).

Official of Northumbria police Vermont House, was called home Sunderland Washington and Gatesing South MP Sharon Hodgson’s constituency office, after a report in the last midnight.

The scene footage shows a large part of the building on the ground. The graffiti which reads “328 days of blood on your hands” is also visible on the side of the office.

In his 20s, a person has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and arson.

Ms. Hodgon’s office said in a statement that she would not comment on the incident due to active police investigation, although insisting that “there is no place for such violence in our society”.
