Kyle Sandilands shocked by Rebel Wilson’s on-air confession

Australian actress Rebel Wilson has made a surprising personal confession during a radio interview Tuesday morning.

The Pitch Perfect star, 43, called into the Kyle and Jackie O Show to talk about the gender fluid dating app she just launched, aptly titled Fluid.

But the conversation first kicked off with talk of parenthood, with Kyle Sandilands, 51, having welcomed his first child, son Otto, in August last year, while Wilson became a mum in November with the birth of her daughter, Royce Lillian.

“I think my baby is allergic to eggs because she just projectile vomited after eating eggs for the first time,” Wilson said.

Sandilands suggested it likely wasn’t the first time Wilson had been vomited on, saying, “You’re a wild Hollywood type, you would’ve been vomited on heaps of times?”

The Senior Year actress, who is based in the US, then confessed she wasn’t a very big drinker.

“You know what I’ve never been actually drunk, drunk in my whole life,” Wilson said.

Both Sandilands and his co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson reacted in surprise to the revelation, with Wilson elaborating on the sad reason why she never had an alcohol phase.

“I just never drank much because my Nanna drank a lot, and I saw what it did to her,” Wilson said.

Elsewhere in the chat, Wilson also revealed before she settled down with now fiance Ramona Agruma last year, she enjoyed some “fun” on the celebrity dating app Raya.

“A lot of celebrities in LA are on it,” she said. “[I met] a couple of fun people. I can’t breach their privacy.”

Before Agruma, with whom she went public in June last year, Wilson dated billionaire Jacob Busch for a few months, before they split in early 2021.

In March this year, Wilson revealed she had been “dumped” by an unnamed woman “in the public eye” before meeting Agruma.

“I met a woman and had, like, feelings for her, which totally came as a blindside,” Wilson said on the U Up? podcast. “It wasn’t what I was expecting.”

Wilson admitted she had a “hard” time telling the person they were “attracted to them.”

“I said the words, ‘I don’t want to offend you, but are you interested in women?’

“I’ve never had a conversation like that [before] because I was dating dudes and never had to talk about sexuality … She was like, ‘I have feelings for you as well.’”

Although the connection “didn’t end up going anywhere really” and Wilson “got dumped,” she credited the experience with “opening [her] heart up for a same-sex relationship.”
