Tenacious D co-founder Kyle Gass says the comedy-rock duo will be joining forces with Partner Jack Black Corrections made after consequences Garth’s joke about assassination attempt on Donald Trump.

“We talked about it at length. It’s difficult. It’s like a marriage. You go through these ups and downs and try to understand your partner,” Gase explained.
“Jack and I are great. At the end of the day, we’re friends. I’ve known Jack since he was 18, and it’s been a long marriage, really,” he continued. “You have ups and downs and we always take long breaks. He has a lot to do and I have other projects. So it doesn’t feel any different now.”


As for the timing of the Tenacious D reunion, Gass remains mysterious, but said, “We won’t be serving D wine until D time comes, but we’ll be back. We’ll be back.”
Gase’s onstage quip draws backlash from Trump allies, including the late Charlie Kirk. Black issued his own statement at the time, saying he was “shocked” by Gase’s joke. this Bernie The actor added that he does not “condone hate speech or encourage political violence of any kind.”
“After much consideration, I no longer feel it is appropriate to continue touring with Tenacious D and all future creative plans have been put on hold,” Black continued. “I thank the fans for their support and understanding.”
Meanwhile, Gase apologized for the incident on social media, writing: “I do not condone violence of any kind against anyone. What happened was a tragedy and I am deeply sorry for my severe lack of judgment. I am deeply sorry to those who let me down and deeply regret any pain I caused.”
