Officials said on Sunday that Srinagar, 27: A 45-year-old citizen was shot dead by suspected militants in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir.
The terrorists opened fire on Ghulam Rasool Magre inside their residence in Kandi Khas on Saturday, they said.
Magre was rushed to a hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.
It was not immediately clear why ultras targeted the social worker.
