KPDCL employee arrested by accepting a bribe of Rs 4000 in Budgam

The anti-corruption branch of the CBI Srinagar, demanding bribe from a complainant, today nabbed an employee of Kashmir Power Development Corporation Limited (KPDCL) in Magam area of ​​Budgam, Budgam.

An official told (KNO) that the employee, identified as Manzoor Ahmed Dar, was caught by a red hand accepting a bribe of Rs 4000.

He said that the complainant had filed a complaint in which it was alleged that the concerned employees were demanding bribe from their poultry farm for the facility of electricity connection.

“On receiving the complaint, ACB Srinagar verified it and laid a trap to catch the employee with a red hand, demanding a bribe amount of Rs 4000. A case of 2025 U/S7 has been registered against him for the prevention of Corruption Act 1988,” he said (no)
