There has been a big controversy over Lucknow Super Giants owner Sanjiv Goenka’s heated conversation with captain KL Rahul after the big defeat against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Wednesday. LSG were completely outclassed by SRH as the Pat Cummins-led side dealt a major blow to their IPL 2024 dreams. LSG could only manage 165/4 – a target which Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head achieved in just 9.4 overs. While the video of the conversation between Rahul and Goenka has gone viral, another video shows Goenka also having an animated conversation with head coach Justin Langer. Goenka was clearly disappointed after the result and spoke to the Australian great regarding the situation.

LSG are placed sixth on the IPL 2024 points table with 12 points and will have to win all their remaining two games and depend on other results to make it to the playoffs. LSG has reached the playoff stage in the last two seasons since its debut in 2022.

Seeing Goenka dominate Langer, Rahul did not spend much time standing and decided to leave. Here is the video:
