King Charles’s ‘return’ decision influenced by key person

A royal expert claims King Charles is “diligently following” his mother’s teachings by choosing to resume his royal duties.

Since early February, Charles has been receiving outpatient care, and his return to public-facing royal duties will serve as a positive development for the monarchy.

Speaking on GB News, Nicholas Owen told Stephen Dixon and Ellie Costello that the monarch is following her mother’s lead.

“You have to see to believe,” he said.

“This philosophy is much older than that. I think it was George III, who had a lot of children, he was a bit of a reluctant group.

“He got on very well with them and said, ‘The most important thing about us is we have to show up, our job is to be there.’

“It’s done right. Her Majesty the Queen put forward this idea. It turns out that after the Queen’s death, she suffered more illnesses than you might expect in her life.

“But if you look at her diary and look back at what she’s done, watched all the movies over the years, watched the endless work on TV coverage and so on, she was very steady.”

Sources have stressed that despite the positive news, King is suffering from cancer and will continue to receive treatment.

A spokesperson for Buckingham Palace said: “Her Majesty is very encouraged to resume some public-facing duties and is very grateful to her medical team for their continued care and expertise.”
