King Charles III, who returned to public-facing duties on Tuesday by visiting University College Hospital’s Macmillan Cancer Center with his wife Queen Camilla, has received a new patronage in his powerful move.
King Charles has made a powerful decision to return to public duty following his cancer diagnosis and has revealed how he is feeling.
In his first public duty since his cancer diagnosis, King Charles visited a cancer treatment center in London to meet medical experts and patients.
The 75-year-old monarch was also announced as a patron of Cancer Research UK as he met cancer patients during the visit.
Royal expert Chris Shipp took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a video of the king’s engagement, revealing his latest patronage.
The monarch encouraged fellow cancer patients with his bold move, which was the king’s first public visit since doctors asked him to avoid public-facing duties during cancer treatment.
On Friday, Buckingham Palace announced that the king was “very encouraged” to have been given the green light by doctors to return to some public-facing duties. However, King still has cancer and will continue to receive treatment for an unknown form of the disease.
