KFC outlets arrested 160, supporting Israel in Gaza war in Pakistan

Islamabad:

The government said on Saturday that about 160 people have been arrested after 20 separate attacks at KFC restaurants, in which an employee was shot and killed.

Since the onset of the war in the American-made fast food chain Gaza, the goal of opposition and boycott calls by Islamic parties has become a goal, which connects the brand with American support for Israel.

This month, the mob outside KFC repeatedly opposed, broke the windows, set fire and threatened the employees.

“A total of 20 incidents occurred in Pakistan with a deadly in Pakistan. The person was a staff member in KFC,” Deputy Economic Minister Talal Chaudhary said at a news conference on Saturday.

The KFC employee was shot in a branch on the outskirts of Lahore, the capital of Punjab province on Sunday.

A police officer told AFP that it was not clear what was the purpose of shooting or whether it was associated with recent protests.

Chaudhary said that 145 people were arrested in Punjab province and 15 were arrested on 15 attacks in the national capital Islamabad.

“These restaurants locally source everything and appoint Pakistani employees, and their earnings remain within the country,” he said.

KFC and its original company Yama! The brands have not responded to the remarks requests.

A KFC restaurant in Kashmir’s Pakistan-based region was set on fire in March last year as the protesters chanting “Free Palestine”.
