Kerala Lopa Satheson Slams Vijayan government meets Ayyappa, it is called hypocrisy

Malappuram, 23 September (IANS) Kerala opposition leader VD Sathson on Tuesday criticized the state government on Ayyappa Sammelon’s organization, called it “hypocrisy” before elections and an act of political posture.

Addressing the media in Malappuram, he said that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan was trying to atone for previous works in Sabarimala, while depicting himself as a devotee leader.

He said, “The government ruled for nine years without taking any important steps for the development of Sabarimala. Now, suddenly, they show enthusiasm and call it ‘master plan’. It is a sheer deception,” he said.

He said that during UDF rule, development projects on 112-hectare forest land came to a standstill due to procedural obstacles, saying that the current performance of devotion was politically motivated.

The opposition leader also referred to the recent message of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, saying, “The message made it clear what the government intends. The CPI (M) is an unholy alliance with the BJP, and this is the latest example. People of Kerala can easily understand it.”

He interrogated the BJP’s separate Ayyappa Samlen, saying, “If he had participated with Yogi Adityanath, he would have been sufficient. The Yogi is the most effective ally of the Chief Minister, who is for the final parliamentary elections for the majority trivial strategies.”

Incidentally, the ‘congregation’ congregation sponsored by the Government of Kerala was held on 20 September, and it was inaugurated by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, while the BJP-employed was held on Monday and was inaugurated by Tamil Nadu BJP President. Annamalai did it.

The leader accused the government of trying to create caste and religious division, citing an incident, where a person involved in a vigilance case was taken into the Chief Minister’s car.

He said, “Development meetings are absurd only before the elections. A government that denies money to local bodies and still organizes such an event, is making fun of the opposition and people,” he said.

“The government has spent ten years to weaken the rule and economy of Kerala, and now it lectures on development. It is all political hypocrisy,” he concluded
