Katie Price said there was “nothing worse than a young woman undergoing cosmetic surgery such as breast augmentation, facial and lip fillers”.
The former glamor model is famous for her enhancements but says she is “not a hypocrite” and says they can be “damaging” to the body.
priceThe 45-year-old told podcast How To Fail With Elizabeth Day: “There’s nothing worse than when these young girls now, I would say in their early 20s, are getting fillers, are getting Doing lips, doing breasts.
“I’m not a hypocrite, but I didn’t start doing my face until I was in my 40s. Yes, I had breast augmentation, but I didn’t even have fillers.”
Price is open to his own improvements.
In 2021, she shared graphic images from a trip to Turkey, where she underwent procedures including full-body liposuction and an eye and lip lift.
But the mother-of-three told the podcast she didn’t get Botox until “I was like 27/28.”
She added: “All the girls look the same now and I think ‘what will they look like when they are my age’?”
Price said her numerous plastic surgeries may have prevented her own children from having them.
“They’ve gotten used to it and I think I’ve put off their lives,” she said.
Price also said young women need to be aware of the pain and discomfort some surgeries can cause.
“People don’t realize that when you do something like surgery, you only see the before and the after, you don’t see the in-between,” she told the podcast.
“When you go through this, you go through pain, cleaning, stitches coming out and bed rest. So I’d love to educate people about that. It’s not good for your body.”
“The culprit is men”
After the surgery in 2021, she told The Sun she felt like “a piece of flesh had been cut open” and the swelling made her look like a “monster”.
However, that didn’t deter her, and earlier this year she shared a video on Instagram showing her lips and back filled.
Price, who is married to singer Peter Andre, has also opened up about the impact of her past relationships, even blaming them for it. her money problems.
She said her relationship with Andre was “real” but subsequent partners “just rebounded” as she longed for married life again.
“If men hadn’t been in my life, I wouldn’t be in this situation of bankruptcy,” she told Elizabeth Day.
“I don’t get brain torture or mental abuse like I used to. It’s all about the men… I don’t know if that has anything to do with it, but I’m in therapy all because of the men.”
She said she was diagnosed with ADHD in 2023, which may have contributed to some of her struggles.
“I’m diagnosed now, not that I believe labels, but I have severe ADHD and it makes sense,” she said.
“Now it makes sense because I made bad choices, did the wrong things, and really I was just naive (and) gullible.”
