Kate Middleton, Prince William draw attention on King Charles’ big day

Prince William, Kate Middleton and their three children attracted massive attention as Buckingham Palace marked the first anniversary of the king and queen’s coronation on Monday.

The Prince and Princess of Wales, who have personally wished the King and Queen on this year’s auspicious occasion, have delighted fans with a sweet memory of their attendance at Charles and Camilla’s coronation ceremony.

King Charles and Queen Camilla were all smiles and in good spirits as they arrived on the balcony of Buckingham Palace to watch the flypast following their coronation ceremony on May 06, 2023.

Despite the somewhat disappointing weather, the Wales family – Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and crowd favorite Prince George appeared on the prestigious palace balcony alongside other senior royals.

King-to-be William and Kate were resplendent in their royal robes, and their children stole the show, although fans lined up to see the new king and queen with their crowns.

It was the head-turning moment when Charlotte and Louis arrived at Westminster Abbey, as the younger princess appeared to take on big sister duties as the siblings followed their parents to Westminster Abbey for their grandfather’s coronation. He was holding Prince Louis’ hand. The couple’s eldest son Prince George was on page of honor duty and entered the coronation ceremony accompanied by King Charles rather than his family.

Kate and Charlotte had the ultimate mother-daughter matching moment at the historic event, wearing coordinating headpieces by Jess Colette x Alexander McQueen and similar white dresses by McQueen.

Her awe-inspiring hair accessories were in line with Queen Elizabeth’s coronation in 1953, similar to the accessories worn by the late Queen’s maids of honor at her ceremony.

On the other hand, Prince George’s role as page of honor for his grandfather put him in the royal history books. He was the youngest future emperor to officially attend the coronation service.

Now, the royal family is celebrating one year since the coronation, but with a slightly heavy heart as both King Charles and Princess Kate are battling cancer.
