Kate Beckinsale hits out at ‘new deal’ haters: ‘Hopefully it’ll be less inspiring’

Kate Beckinsale is answering her critics in the best possible way.

In response to the criticism she received online for her appearance, the 50-year-old actress posted a video of herself dressed as an elderly groom on Instagram on Tuesday, May 7.

Wearing a wrinkled bald face mask, a white suit and a bow tie, Beckinsale, who has just home from the hospital due to an unexplained health issue, was unrecognizable in her wheelchair outfit.

“New deal. It’s all you’re getting,” she wrote in the caption of the first photo she shared of her transformation. “Hopefully it’s less triggering and more than you deem age-appropriate. Sayonara B—–s.”

In a close-up, Beckinsale was seen in a wheelchair, wearing a mask and holding her cat Willow, who was dressed just like her. In a later video, Beckinsale was seen in the same pose, with the camera panning out to reveal that she was now wearing white platform shoes.

In another photo, Beckinsale was inspired by a woman wearing a bridal dress who sat back in a wheelchair and kicked her legs in the air.

Later, in a video, the actress was seen sitting in the same wheelchair outside a sports court with her Pomeranian, Myf.

In the last video, Beckinsale fell from her wheelchair to the court floor while her “bride” partner ran to help her.
