It is reported for information from all concerned that the class work in the main campus and all satellite complexes of Kashmir University will be suspended on May, 09, 2025.
Earlier, the authorities ordered the closure of all educational institutions in many parts of Kashmir and Jammu for May 9 and 10, citing increasing tension between India and Pakistan.
Director of School Education, Kashmir issued a directive stating, “All government and private schools, Kupwara, sub-division (Gurez), and Srinagar and Avantpora Airport, the schools falling under the proximity of the Srinagar and Avantpora Airport will remain closed on the 9th and 10th of May 2025.”
