Udupi, October 4 (IANS) In a shocking incident, a woman allegedly killed her daughter, who was allegedly planning an allop with her lover in Udupi district of Karnataka.
The accused, identified as 45 -year -old Gulzar Banu, was arrested and sent to judicial custody.
The victim was identified as the daughter of 17 -year -old Shifnaz, Banu and Sheikh Mustafa.
According to the police, Banu killed Shifnaz after a fight with him. The tragic incident stems from a controversy related to the desire of Shifnaz to leave the house due to a romantic relationship.
Shifnaz, a resident of Kanangi, has been vocal about his relationship and accepts his mother about the plan to live with her lover.
Preliminary reports indicate that the discord between mother and daughter was born on 20 September.
The daughter’s revelation allegedly instigated Banu, who allegedly strangled Shifnaz with a piece of cloth in a fit of anger and later stabbed her with a knife.
The police, who started investigating the incident, was initially misled by Sheikh Mustafa, who reported his daughter’s death as a suicide as a result of his mother’s conflict.
However, the post -mortem examination revealed the signs of conflict, stabbing the wounds, and indicated more intensive examination.
On further interrogation by the Karkala City Police, Banu made a contradictory statements and later confessed to the crime, which led to his immediate arrest.
After his confession, Banu also shared the sequence of leading events for the tragic event.
The police has further investigated the case. Officials said that they are finding out the facts of the case.
On 17 September, a woman, along with her Paramor, was allegedly alleged in the Tungabhadra River in Havery district of Karnataka to allegedly torture and kill her five -year -old daughter.
Investigations have revealed that the residents of Gudda Averi, Annappa and Jyoti, allegedly killed the child on 2 August at Rainbenur taluk, which led to the Tungabhadra river alive after subjugating them to physical torture.
