On the work front, Kareena is rumored to be all set to make her Kannada debut. She will star alongside Yash in his upcoming film Toxic. Yash announced his new film last year and revealed the title in December.

While details about the film are still under wraps, a new report claims that Kareena will play the lead role in the film. According to Filmfare reports, director Geetu Mohandas and Yash are likely to announce Kareena’s addition to the cast in the coming days. The film is said to begin filming in a few weeks. Kareena is not the first Bollywood actress to work with Yash. In 2022, Yash was seen working with Raveena Tandon and Sanjay Dutt in KGF 2.

On the work front, Karina was last seen in Buckingham Murders. During a recent discussion at Netflix’s 2023 Actors Roundtable, Kareena Kapoor shared her insights about her character in the film Buckingham Murder. Revealing key details, she revealed that her character in the film is that of a grieving mother. The story opens with a tragic incident in which her character’s child is shot and killed, prompting her transformation into a detective. She flees her hometown for another hometown and grapples with the complexities of the cases assigned to her. “Buckingham Murder” is directed by Hansal Mehta.

Additionally, she will appear in The Crew, opposite Tabu and Kriti Sanon. The film is expected to be released on March 29.
