Kanye West faces lawsuit over yelling, employee fired over hairstyle

Kanye West is facing a new lawsuit over discrimination allegations at his now-closed Donda Academy.

A former employee, Benjamin DeShon Provo, has filed a lawsuit in a Los Angeles court, claiming the rapper yelled at black staff members and paid them less than his white colleagues.

Provo, who worked as a security guard, alleges that white employees were paid at least $5 an hour more than their black counterparts, according to the lawsuit.

The lawsuit also accuses West of pressuring Provo to cut his dreadlocks, highlighting a pattern of discriminatory practices.

It comes after previous claims that West had threatened to shave students’ heads and put them in cages at the academy, which he planned to open in 2022 as an exclusive, non-public school for children aged four to 18. Established as a recognized Christian private school.

West must now address these serious allegations of discrimination and inappropriate behavior in the workplace.

According to court documents obtained by mailonlineFormer employee Benjamin DeShon Provo claims that West demanded he shave his hair, saying, “Okay, now it’s time for you to shave your head.
