Mohammad Fahir Amaz, 20, and his brother, Muhammad Amad, 26, officers who attacked him have been accused of attacking him. An incident in a starbucks Terminal 2 of the airport arrived on 23 July 2023.
CCTV footage shows PC Zachari Marsden and PC Elli Cook – both were armed – and the unarmed PC lid ward reached the brothers in the car park after the incident.
The prosecution says that Amaz protested as the police tried to get away from a payment machine in the car park to arrest him, and then his brother, Amad intervened.
He told the court on Monday that Amaz threw 10 panchs, including the face of the PC ward which knocked him on the floor, and Amad hit six punches in Firearms Officer PC Marsden.
Amaz also said that PC Marsden was kicked and twice hit the firemill officer PC Cook with his elbow and punched PC Marsden from behind and then PC Cook caught him before discharging his taser device.
Amaz has alleged that the authorities have attacked him, which causes him real physical harm and he is also accused of the first attack of Abdulkerem Ismail, a member of the public in Starbucks.
Amad, 26, has alleged that PC Marsden has been attacked, causing real physical damage.
Both men, Rochedale, from Greater Manchester, deny the allegations.
Giving evidence in the court, PC Marsden said he approached the accused with the intention of saving the suspect from the mob and to arrest him out where he would have a radio signal.
He said that he placed his hand on the left arm of Amaz, but said he “met with immediate resistance” and he felt that the suspected “his fist”.
PC Marsden said he realized that the plan needed a change, so decided to try to handcuffs a person wearing a light blue tracksuit.
The official said he felt “a big weight of pressure” on his right side and felt that his Glock 17 cm-automatic pistols move around their legs and his body, and someone feared that someone was “trying to get his gun”.
He then described the other man to get “explosion from all directions”, which knocked his glasses from his face.
PC Marsden said that he managed to get rid of Amad and before he felt a blow on his head from behind and someone shocked someone on his back.
When he “score my throat” to one hand, he realized that he said he would think that he could be a third attack, he told the court.
He said, at that time, he did not realize that his colleague PC Cook had discharged his Teser in Amaz as he captured him. He freed himself before going down to arrest the man on the floor.
Prosecutor Paul Greeni Casey suggested to the officer that he approved the head of Amaz. PC Marsden denied this.
PC Marsden told the court: “He (Amaz) ignored my commandments that he put his arms around his back. His chest lifted the floor and his head towards me.
“He was trying to get off the floor. I needed to give a strike in the face area to unconscious the subject.
“Using the soft part of my boot I gave a kick in the facial area, which will buy valuable seconds to take control and hope to stop the subject from trying to get up again.”
The test is underway on Tuesday when PC Marsden will be cross -examined by defense.
