Quebec – A judge will rule today to bail three men facing allegations of terrorism in the alleged conspiracy to forcibly seize the land in the city area.
Simon Anger-Odate, 24, Rafael Lagke, 25, and Mark-Orley Chabots, 24, face allegations of convenience of terrorist activity, and other charges related to illegal storage of firearms and occupation of explosive and prohibited equipment.
There is a publication ban on the details of the bail hearing, who has heard from an RCMP officer, the three accused and several members of his family.
Quebec Court Judge Rene de la Sabboniere heard evidence and arguments in July and was expected to rule last week, but informed the lawyers that they need more time.
A fourth accused – Matthew Forbes, 33 – Facing allegations of weapons and was granted bail under a long list of conditions that include wearing GPS tracking bracelets.
Canadian armed forces have said that Forbes and Chabot were active members of the army at the time of their arrest on 8 July.
